HILLSBORO, Ore. – The Northwest Conference is proud to announce Football Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of September 30th to October 6th.

Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week - Wyatt Smith, Linfield (QB, Jr.)

Smith (McMinnville, Ore.) threw for 303 yards and four touchdowns to help the Wildcats defeat the Boxers 52-14 on Saturday. The four touchdowns tied a season high and career high for the junior.

Football Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week - Dwight Jackson (Sr., LB)

Jackson (Stockton, Calif.) recorded a career-high two sacks in the Loggers' nailbiting 24-23 victory over George Fox.

Football Special Teams Student-Athlete of the Week - Alex Everett, Puget Sound (So., K)

Everett (Bellingham, Wash.) sent the Loggers' Saturday game against George Fox into overtime with a 20-yard field goal and no time left on the clock. He also recorded three points after touchdownts and had a 48-yard punt as the Loggers defeated the Bruins by one in OT.
