Lewis & Clark 78, Trinity (Texas) 49
The #13 Lewis & Clark women's basketball team advances to round two of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament after defeating Trinity (TX) 78-49. The Pioneers will take on Northwest Conference foe Whitman on Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in round two of the tournament. The two teams split the series during the regular season.

Whitman 61, Cal Lutheran 37
The Missionaries rode a hot shooting first half, including 4 three-point bombs from guard
Tiffani Traver (Jr., Oregon City, OR), and a stifling defense, holding Cal Lutheran to only 20 % shooting for the game, in  claiming the first NCAA Tournament victory in program history, downing the Regals 61 - 37 tonight in Portland to advance to the second round.

Whitworth 72, Emory 65
Despite a last-second lay-in from senior
Lauren Picha, the Whitworth women's basketball team came up short, falling 72-65 to Emory University in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in the Woodruff PE Center on Friday evening. Whitworth finishes the season with an overall record of 21-7.
