NWC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for Jan. 9-15

Owens matched a career-high with 35 points against Whitworth, an effort which also catapulted her to the No. 2 spot on Linfield's career scoring ladder. For the week, the NWC scoring leader averaged 27.0 points while shooting 50.0 percent (21-of-42) from the field, 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from 3-point range and 87.5 percent (7-of-8) from the charity stripe. She also contributed team highs of 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
