NWC Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week (Jan. 7-Jan. 13)

Marinello won three events and helped Willamette finish first in a relay as the Bearcats defeated College of Idaho, 121-111, on Jan. 12. She took first place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.74, won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:34.22 and finished first in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:18.26. She also helped Willamette win the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:59.84. Marinello did not compete in the Soka Triangular on Jan. 5.
