Buck won the 100 I.M. and 50 Breaststroke, was second in the 50 Back and 50 Free and third in the 50 Fly at the NWC Sprint Pentathlon, easily winning the combined-time event. He was then part of two winning relays and one second place relay at the NWC Relay Invite to help Whitworth win the team score.
