WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Completing their NWC schedule with a perfect 12-0 record, the 15th-ranked Whitman Blues knocked off the host Pacific Boxers 8-1 Sunday at the Holce Tennis Courts, earning an eighth point in the NWC standings that gave them the outright conference title.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Jeffrey Vulis rallied from a set behind to pull out a three-set 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles and lift the Whitworth Pirates to a dramatic 5-4 victory over the visiting Linfield Wildcats in the season finale for both schools on Saturday.

NEWBERG, Ore. – With Saturday afternoon's 9-0 win over the George Fox Bruins on the road, the 15th-ranked Whitman Blues moved within one point of the NWC title with one match at Pacific left, a feat that comes with the reward of hosting the league's post-season tournament April 22-23.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Pulling  from their deep roster and going with nine different players on Senior Day, the 29th-ranked Lewis & Clark Pioneers hosted the Puget Sound Loggers and posted a  9-0 victory in their regular season finale Saturday afternoon at the L&C Tennis Dome..

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Starting the day with a sweep of the doubles for the ninth time this seasn and fifth in the last six matches, the Pacific Boxers rolled to its fourth 9-0 win on the season, defeating the visiting Willamette Bearcats on Saturday at the Holce Tennis Courts.

SALEM, Ore. – After dropping the top two doubles, Hunter Yee at No. 4 singles and Gunnar Lee at No. 1 singles got Willamette going with the Bearcats' first two singles victories on the way to a 6-3 win over the visiting Puget Sound Loggers Friday at the Salem Tennis and Swim Club.


George Fox 8, Linfield 1 (at Portland, Ore.)

PORTLAND, Ore. – Making up a previously postponed match, the Linfield Wildcats and George Fox Bruins met late Thursday at the Portland Tennis Center. starting at 10:30 p.m. and concluding at 2:30 Friday morning, with George Fox earning the final NWC Tournament spot with an 8-1 win.
