Vazquez earned 2 goals and 2 assists during the week to help Willamette go 2-1. He earned an assist in the Bearcats' 5-1 win over Northwest (Wash.) on Sept. 7 and achieved 2 goals and 1 assist in a 4-0 victory over Walla Walla on Sept. 9. He scored the opening goal against Walla Walla just 46 seconds into the game. He took a total of 7 shots (4 shots on goal) in Willamette's three games.
