NWC Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for November 7 - 13, 2011
Drew Fisher
Linfield, Senior
Gresham, Ore./Centennial
Fisher totaled a team-high six tackles to help the
fifth-ranked Wildcats hold the high-octane Lewis & Clark
offense - which had averaged 38 points entering Saturday's contest
- to just 14 points. He also had one tackle for loss and an
interception, returning the ball 32 yards. Though he lost the ball
at the end of the run, his defensive play pushed the Pioneers back
to their own 47-yard line from likely scoring position. Lewis &
Clark then went three-and-out and was forced to punt on its final
drive of the first half. (Linfield def. Lewis & Clark
