Widing connected on 70% of his passes (14 of 20) for 182 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown pass. He completed his first 11 passes (10 for 10 in the first half) and led Willamette on 5 touchdown drives on its first 7 possessions. WU led 28-0 and took a 35-14 lead into halftime. Widing also completed a 21-yard pass on 4th-and-2 at the UPS 34 to set up another touchdown on Willamette's opening drive of the second half.
