Bishop struck out a total of 16 batters over eight innings in two separate appearances at last weekend's CCC-NWC Baseball Challenge. He fanned two in one inning of relief work in PLU's 5-4 win (10 innings) over Oregon Tech, and in his first start of the season he struck out 14 in seven innings in PLU's 3-0 win against Concordia (Ore.). In eight innings he allowed no runs, six hits and two walks.
