NWC Baseball Student-Athlete of the Week (Pitcher) for February 20-26

Even though he got no decision, Ranta battled Chapman All-American Brian Rauh down to the wire in a game won by the Bruins over the No. 2 team in the nation 3-2 in 12 innings. Ranta went 10 innings, scattering 6 hits, with 4 strikeouts and only one walk, and left with a 2-2 tie.
